QUT (Queensland University of Technology), RMIT University and The Australian National University scientists aim to grow plants on the moon by 2025.
In the future, we might be able to produce food and oxygen on the moon. It will also help ensure food security on Earth as the climate changes.
“If you can grow plants on the moon, you can grow food in some of the most challenging environments on Earth.” said Professor Byrt.
